If you were a kid in the 80’s you will be familiar with Thundercats and will probably want to skip ahead to find out where to play the Thundercats Slot game.
It was rebooted in 2011 but if you sadly missed out on it, here’s the backstory…
Thundercats backstory
The TV show follows the adventures of a group of kind-of-cat, kind-of-human aliens. They live on planet Thundera. Sadly, their home world is on the way out and they are forced to flee. Their fleet is attacked by their enemies from Plun-Darr! Luckily, one of their ships is saved due to having the magical Sword of Omens on board. This sword has a huge amount of power due to the red stone embedded within it; the Eye of Thundera. (Cue Thundercat toy sword sales to sky rocket) On board the ship is Lion-O, Cheetara, Panthero, Tygra, WilyKit and WilyKat and Snarf. Unfortunately their ship is pretty banged up so they must go into suspended animation in their sleeping pods until they reach their destination, Third Earth.
When the gang wake up they set up a new headquarters. Unfortunately the mutants of Plun-Darr track them down and now they have a new problem. Evil, mummified sorcerer Mumm-Ra has his eye on the Sword of Omens so he can yield the power of the Eye of Thundera. It’s an action adventure, good versus evil, merchandise selling opportunity and kids loved it.

International casino software designer Blueprint licensed the game from Warner bros to create Thundercats. It’s a 30 line slot with 10 bonus features! The characters are richly drawn in anime style.
Thundercat character bonuses
At the start of each game you will be randomly assigned a Thundercat character.
Each Thundercat character gives you special powers. Nice!
Panthro: Super stacked duplicate symbols added to the reels
Lion-O: Hit the sword of omens on reel to trigger random wilds
Cheetara: hit the special Cheetara wild symbol on reel 1 (must be mainly visible) and trigger a colossal streak where extra wilds are added to the reels
Tygra: expanding wilds
Wily Cat: two stacked wilds added to the reels with x2 multiplier
Snarf can appear at random and convert symbols into a winning line. So it’s quite nice to see him actually.
Thunder Reel Bonus Round
3 or more of the activated eye of Thundera red power symbol triggers the Thunder Reel bonus round. The reel will spin and land on one of the bonus rounds. The reels expand into 8 rows.
Slithe Free Spins: 10 free spins with Slithe Wilds. His symbol remains sticky and hitting a full stack will give you an extra 5 free spins.
Mumm-Ra spins: 10 free spins and collected wilds, which you use in a final spin on extended reels.
Jackalman: 10 free spins that increase in multiplier with every wild hit. Respins available.
Monkian: 10 free spins and special areas that can change into wild symbols
Ultimate Thunder Bonus: stacked wilds across 5 free spins, only spin reels 2 and 4.
